Awhile back it occurred to me that when coloring with kids, adults really have little options available to them. It's all well and good to color pictures alongside, but those books are made for kids. When I color, I want to color something that speaks to me on a more grown up level.
Thusly I have taken it upon myself to start the ACBP in the hope of providing some entertainment for the coloring connoisseurs of the world. Today I have two pages which you are all welcome to print out and color to your heart's delight. Periodically you can expect more entries for more coloring fun.

I admit I am handicapped by the fact that I suck at drawing, so I want to also open it up to any who would like to contribute their own pieces for the sake of coloring. If no one steps up, I shall continue with the good work myself. Because that's just the kind of guy I am.
I like the carrot...oddly reminds me of myself in terms of unhealthy cravings....you probably don't know that the nun who taught us drawing used to dread me and my sketch incapable friends...
ReplyDeleteAm I the first commenter this time too??......
I'd color Evil purple, just like the evil dinosaur.
ReplyDeleteAnd remember folks, "the lines are our friends!"
ReplyDeleteI forgot to compliment you on your new header! It's awesome!
ReplyDeleteLove it. Much better than the Alan Parson's project.
ReplyDeleteEvil age 6.. just printed it
ReplyDeleteenjoy the new header!
oh, im hungry now
ReplyDeleteDitto Pat on the new header!
ReplyDeleteAnd I like this idea ... the girlfriend unit may have a good drawing or 2 to contribute.
I'm not going to step up. I like that Evil pic too much.
ReplyDeletexoRobyn
I like it!
ReplyDeleteDon't make me turn one of those into a card!
ReplyDeleteHA HA! Marlene you are exactly who popped into mind when he posted that... You have to turn it into a card, man. You just have to!
ReplyDeletei like the carrot drawing. it's actually thought provoking.
ReplyDeleteOh, I LOVE this idea!! I love coloring! I should color with my kids more...
ReplyDeleteI feel inclined to contribute, but I I am technologically... no scanner/camera
ReplyDeleteI'm going to colour the carrot purple and outside the lines. I'm rebellious like that. Also tempted to send you drawings as long as I can do them in Paint as I am lazy, but I don't want to discourage your pictures.
ReplyDeleteNifty idea!
PS. Liking the new layout/header/changes, was like 'Whoaaaaa' when I returned to read and things were different.
MOS, I do a lot of things in paint so that would be fine by me. If you do some though, just please save the image as a .png so it won't blur. And thanks about the new look. I had to do away with the old design as things were screwing up.
ReplyDeleteI also vote for some adult Connect-the-dots, preferably Horror themed!
ReplyDeleteActually, I have been creating adult coloring pages for a while now. They are very detailed and intricate and intended as an aid to meditation. Coloring slows you down. See my work at www.EmerlyeArts.com
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your project.
