What would be the perfect cover?
Rules: Pick a song and who you think would make a great cover. You can go serious or have a little fun. For instance, I think it'd be fun to hear a cover of 'On the Street Where You Live' as performed by Muse.
So, what cover would you want to hear?
.
Hmmm....
ReplyDeleteDef Leppard performing paparazzi. What do i win? haha
Like a Virgin by Lady Gaga
ReplyDeleteLast year, the Dallas Philharmonic performed Led Zeppelin songs.
ReplyDeleteI didn't hear it, but when you think about it, Zep does have a lot of strings and orchestration in their songs.
In fact, a lot of rock music does.
I would have to say I would like to hear Living on a Prayer redone by Linkin Park.
ReplyDeleteI few weeks ago on the 'Daily Show' I saw a Mariachi Band doing 'All The Single Ladies' by Beyonce. It's been stuck in my head since then so I would like to see Mariachi covers of all the big hits. What? That is no stupider than those damn 'mini-pops' albums currently playing in Hell's Jukebox.
ReplyDeleteOh how I hate the Mini-Pops.
Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy performing Lady Antebellum's "I Need You Now".
ReplyDelete"The End" performed by Nirvana...ya know, when Curt was a live.

Ah nephew, haven't seen you on here in awhile. Frankly the Muppets can cover any song and I'm a happy camper.
ReplyDeleteThis is really really bad, but my excuse is that I'm tired. (I'm pretty much always tired, but I need an excuse for this one.)
ReplyDeleteI'm Too Sexy by Rodney Dangerfield.
xoRobyn
I can't possibly top "I'm too sexy" by Rodney Dangerfield.
ReplyDeleteHow about Beethoven's Fifth played by Mozart?
ReplyDeleteEasy: Rick Roll covering Enter the Sandman
ReplyDeleteJohnny Cash covering Hurt was possibly the best cover ever....
