All the new movie releases reviewed in 7 words.
Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief - We all wish it was Harry Potter.
Valentine's Day - Everyone I hate in one big package!
The Wolfman - Rather watch cartoon 'Peter and the Wolf'
You know what I like? Any old cartoon with Sterling Holloway's voice. Doesn't have to be Pooh related. So long as he's narrating, I'm there. Remember that episode of the Twilight zone where he was the TV repairman? He looked so evil. Sometimes I wonder if that's what he was really like in life; a murderous repairman who acted like there was a moral to be learned when in reality he just liked killing people.
Course now that I think about it, he was also on The Andy Griffith Show, with Don Knotts, who played the evil TV repairman in Pleasantville. Might be something significant there. Not to mention that the show also had the voices of Owl, Gopher, and Roo appearing at times. Roo, played by Clint Howard... how does that suit you for messed up? There must have been something evil in the water on the set of that show. Still love it though. Especially the pickle episode. I might do a review of that one day just for kicks. But I digress...
What was I saying? Oh yes, have a good weekend.
Are you secretly google? Where do you pull these names and career history bits of info from?
ReplyDeleteLOL
ReplyDeleteThat question is awesome.
No, not Google, I just had a misspent youth.
I love murderous TV repairmen who try to teach us morals. You can learn a lot from them, just before they kill you. It's a trade-off sure. But lessons AND a working TV might just be worth it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your post. I love the 7 word movie reviews.
I'm kinda looking forward to Percy Jackson... it may not be Harry Potter, but the books were decent and could play well onscreen. Maybe.
ReplyDelete@Reputation, They really are special aren't they?
ReplyDelete@Kristy, actually it looks like it could be alright. Obvious parallels could not be ignored though.
These reviews are spot on. SPOT ON!
ReplyDeleteDon't mess with Gentle Ben. haha.
